My path to becoming a wedding officiant has been shaped by a lifelong love of connection, storytelling, and speaking from the heart. From winning public speaking competitions in high school (yes, really!) to a career in radio in Vancouver and Calgary, I’ve always been drawn to the power of words and the way they bring people together.

I later earned a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, working with individuals and groups to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. That same focus carried into my work in corporate training and human resources, where I led learning experiences across Canada and within global organizations—always with the goal of helping people feel engaged, included, and that their voice truly matters.

I’ve spent most of my life speaking to groups, big and small—and I genuinely love it.

At the heart of everything I do is a deep commitment to love, bringing care, presence, and intention into every moment.

Becoming an officiant feels like a natural extension of this journey. It brings together everything I value: connection, storytelling, and meaningful moments. I feel truly blessed to work with couples at such a beautiful time in their lives, creating ceremonies that are personal, heartfelt, joyful, and unforgettable.
